I may also chime in with a couple of more specific questions - which are really what Eva is asking, but rephrased a little so I can thieve credit, or something like that.

How much time are you prepared to put into the team on a weekly basis - in terms of pure practice and similar? Do you want to be a part of deltaONE - our competitive 2142 division?

In any case, please take another look at the CoC, unlike some it's not something that you can just tick a box on :)

Goodluck, if your teamwork, commitment and communications are at the level of your stats, then there should be no problems getting you in the door.

thats really smart but i did look at it i read these through the three main topics ie.

(db]] PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT.
This section relates to how our members will behave in game.

1) Members will not abuse others either through in game text chat, VoIP or TS.
2) Excessive foul language and swearing will not be used on either text chat, VoIP, TS or in forums. This includes public servers, other web sites, and clan scrims and wars.
3) Players will show respect to all people on public servers and in clan wars at all times.
4) If a Member is becoming upset, angry or frustrated you are not to use text chat, VoIP or TS to vent your frustrations.
5) Spawn camping, base raping, deliberate TK or disruptive annoying game play will not be tolerated.

Please note that these rules are aimed primarily at the image (db]] projects to the outside gaming community. Within the clans own TS channels the rules are generally much more relaxed as clan members usually enjoy a more tolerant atmosphere. We also understand that in the heat of the moment the odd outburst on TS is sometimes unavoidable. Continuous fowl language though would not be looked upon favorably. It is also important to listen and act accordingly to any senior or admin instructions as it is disrespectful to waste their time and efforts.

(db]] MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT.
This section relates to how you will behave as part of the clan and how you will be treated as a member.

1) Members will respect one another.
2) Members will follow Administrators, Seniors and Squad Leaders guidance.
3) If problems occur you should consult your seniors or Administrators and not take matters into your own hands.
4) No member shall engage in disrespectful or abusive conduct or conduct that would be embarrassing to the clan on any public medium including but not limiting to public forums.
5) You will at all times uphold and defend the reputation of Delta Brotherhood and yet still adhere to the above at all times.
6) Treat others how you want to be treated.

(db]] FORUM CODE OF CONDUCT

1) There will be no excessive swearing on the forums.
2) Images will not be spammed across the forums.
3) Abuse towards other members on the forums will not be tolerated.
4) Under no circumstances will a member give their forum password out to any other clan members, or non-members. The Admins have access to IP logs and can easily determine if such a breach has taken place. It is a mater deemed so serious that the offender will be instantly dismissed from the clan.

We require you now to achieve 5 vouches from our members in order to receive your probationary status. Best way to find us is to jump on irc with us and idle, our members play from day time to night depending on work, school, uni, etc etc.

Serious note - the probation is there for a reason.. And if you think you've got what it takes to stay in DB - it won't take much to make it through. Some will obviously show they want it more than others.

My case - mutual agreement (I hope! :) ) I was honest about what I was looking for and the guys here showed time and again that they had it - so it kind of fell into place. I'll do my best to uphold my end of the deal and work for the spot I've been given.

I think the fastest probation was someone smishing it in six days.. then I did mine in eight..

In any case, probation is good, gives you the chance to prove your worth :)
