Irregardless to the demoralising loss against ub, i would like to thank the key individuals for setting up this match, and the participants who competed and also the practice partners.

At this moment I myself am cut about this loss, but am determined to reanalyse how we are running things and how we can do things different. My resolve is stronger and my determination solid, pity i have a mid sem today because i havent studied, been playing bf2142. LOL

GG, i really want the BR files for this match

I am quite sour about the result; however this has been an imense learning experience.

Our weak points were exposed so we are now aware of them.

A new mentality towards roll outs and strats will be made instead of building a gimmicky strat then having the team adjust to the strat as best as possible (this is great against less pro clans but top of ladder is to experienced for this shit).

We will now work on our strong points and build a strat to accomodate our strengths

We learnt that we need more patience

We learnt that currently our comms breaks down the moment we panic

the list goes on.

Believe me this is one time we get kicked that we bounce back stronger than ever.

D1... we will rize from the ashes and envelop this ladder with our uberness (extremely geeky/nerdy/gay but wgaf)

Tough break guys... ub aren't to be taken lightly, they usually do quite well on pubs (only place i've seen them fight).

100% agree with all the sentiments which have come about in this thread after such a resounding defeat.

In a way this loss could possibly be something which we needed. After winning 5 in a row, a grounding experience like this I think will temper the D1 team into a more organised harder hitting force.

Lessons learned, 20-20 hindsight etc.. the only thing to do from now on is to turn this bitter defeat into an experience which will only make us stronger. I beleive we have what it takes, we just need to be more than the sum of all our parts.

GG, i beleive we needed this..

Heres an outside opinion.

From wat i experienced playing with you, you are a bunch of very skilled players with impenetrable teamwork and good strats. however there are some things that i noticed. your strats are good but u need a closer look at how they will happen.

E.g. When assaulting a base, EMP any jeeps/walkers/rorches in the area and lay down an orbital. Provides great cover for your walker or a jeep load to get into position around a flag while the infantry on foot back u up afterwards.

You should also have a squad In the jeep/walker that can be used to support any actions that are out numbered/gunned.

Dont forget to create back up strats for when everything goes wrong. Use worste case scenarios

E.g. they have both the walkers/jeeps and are camping ur last flag

I would like to remind everyone that this is a public thread :)

No point harassing the general community with things like this.

Good game to ub, we were just outclassed. But we won't be next time.

Okay i'll do the writeup as fox isn't in the mood to do so.

(db]] - EU
-ub- PAC

Initial rollout seemed to set out fine as the assault squad was to head into the marsh ramp drop the buggy to form a blockpoint to prevent rush, and emped mine whilst gaurded by 2 at and 2 assault with walker coming from rear..but there was no rush.......the was no walker.

The main enemy attack was precise and risky, whilst the walker stayed defensive at their base prepared to defend against backcap. Their main assault was an all out bridge cap to force us back to a single flag, they spawned and staged the attack from the dip by the bridge end entered from the west side as one. Our plan for this catered for a rush attack and we grenaded from the side and the gun battles persued shortly. A failure to cap the first flag lead us to fight for it, and establish a full force attack on bridge. After numerous squad pushes we manage to take control of the area and proceeded to hold a blockade for more upcoming assaults. With a bit of walker support, going back and fowards the flag was successfully defended by foxx, as he completed his assistance he returned to original positions covering the rear entry point from marsh.

Gun battles were relatively even, during our reestablishment we managed to take back the lead, and headed a 10 point lead for the first 15mins. Their forces were placed around the map with some guys holding spawn (i assume they did in order to prepare for a rapid deployment backcap). The main battle was the atypical ditch between docks and dock office which consisted of sniper fights, grenade lobbing and straight out infantry gruntage. Numerous attempts on their behalf proved to be a threat but was easily remedied with consistent and persistent rezing of teammates of EU.

The EU assault squad headed by myself Miss_MeLT, Luken, and xshauniclesx made numerous attempts at pushing to dock office. With the initial attempt being a failure, with two men going down and holding spawn it was decided I was going to do a quiet beacon placement nearby on the rooftops of the grey buildings to use for later as their assault forces moved up. With the beacon in place an attempt at caping the Outer Docks was intecepted by a walker and followed up with an artillery strike.

As both teams held 2 and 2 (flags) of the map the battle looked promising, until an unfortunate move of the EU walker left a backdoor entrance for a walker and buggy to enter which harassed EU main. With the commander harassed and the majority of the forces on Bridge it proved to be a disorganised attempt at reclaiming the EU defensive line. With the walker going rampant through inf Assault styled EU forces, it allowed PAC forces to push into EU main and continually harass commander and infantry alike. The walker at this stage was overmassed with AT attacks and was taken down. Before we knew it our territory and half of the map had already been plagued with PAC soldiers positioned defensively for their overpowering capture of our flags.

At this point PAC forces were disregarding dock office, so with that in mind, Alpha Assault squad used the quiet beacon placement, and simultaneously spawned as one and swiftly cleaned out the single infantry defending Dock Office and capped the flag. This meaneuver boxed in PAC forces between the two flags, while Docks Office itself was boxed between inner and bridge. Two flags were better than one..

The assualt forces pushing from both flags proved to be little help without walker support as the enemy PAC walker made swift strafe runs to wipe out and supress any forward assaults towards bridge.

The match ended with a shocking suprise that a turnaround had just occured and left us in disarray.

Score can't remember, 0-72 or something, i'll do the next brief tomm.

i wasnt there but heck i might just add to what van said "We will now work on our strong points and build a strat to accomodate our strengths"
this isnt really a key idea, only workign on your strentgh is a bad idea, when you rely on somthing to much it becomes your weakness, now if you understand that you deserve a medal and i migh talso add that it kinda sounds like that this scrim stategy was falling apart near the end of the game
i dotn really know much about what you guys do in a scrim but i think your strategy might need a small makeover
